

Pansy Privitt Johnson, a real estate agent for 55 years, passed away on December 23, 2014. She and her twin, Patsy, were born in Childress, TX to Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Goodson. In 1948, she married C.M. Privitt, Jr. and came to the Dallas area as a young bride at the age of 17. Pansy had a full and happy life, and enjoyed multiple careers. Her writing hobby led her to produce family TV movies, and she was proud of winning the Crystal Award in 1985 for best in-house production in a presentation at the Dallas Public Library, which ran on Heritage Cable for 5 years. She is survived by husband, John Johnson; sister, Patsy Wylie; sister, Lena Ford and husband Frank; daughter, Kay Baum and husband Craig; son, Hugo Privitt and wife Camille; son, Roger Privitt and wife Kim; John’s daughters in San Francisco, CA, Charisma Danziger and Krystal Johnson; grandchildren, Ashley Finch, Hayley Zacha, Tony Privitt, Taylor Privitt, April Walker, and Kati Walker; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., and Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., all at Grove Hill Funeral Home, and will be followed by Interment at Grove Hill Memorial Park. "A Celebration of Life" memorial will be held at the First Baptist Church of Richardson at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 29, 2014.
