Patricia Inez White was born on July 17, 1954, to the late Clarence and Billie Anglin White in Austin, Texas. She was the only child of Clarence and Billie and spent the majority of her childhood in Dallas. Pat entered her heavenly home on Friday, April 26, 2019.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son John Michael Paris. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael “Mike” Meadors Paris, daughter, Angel Bass (A. J.), son, Seneca Paris, and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

She attended Texas Woman’s University, graduated May 1976. Her Master of Arts diploma from TWU, received in May 1981, hangs proudly in their home to this day. Pat started in education working as a music teacher in Dallas Independent School District. While at DISD, she thrived as a teacher and continued her education. As many know she went on to become a counselor at Bryan Adams High School. Retiring from DISD a little earlier than planned, she spoke often of the beautiful friendships with fellow teachers, coworkers and students.

She met her husband, Mike and married on June 11, 1983. They took care of one another for over thirty-five years.

She was a quiet soul. A trained pianist, Pat enjoyed music of all genres. Committed to education, both for herself and others, she helped many students prepare for a successful transition to college.

She will be sorely missed by many.

My Dear Friend Pat.. my heart has been so heavy since your passing and I'm leaning on God to lighten the sorrow and praying to the Almighty to keep Mike and the family in the palm of His hands, as they endure your loss, for "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in their spirit" (Psalms 34:18). How do I summarize some 30+ years of friendship in so few words.. you were introduced to me and quickly became one of my dearest friends.. a true friend and later became to be my big and wise sister / my family. A true friend U were.. who was ok to tell me when I was right or wrong.. a true friend to believe in me.. a true friend to laugh with, to share her family with, and just accept me... who ever and how ever I was. I shall never forget the road trips to Mexia, Houston, and the rafting trips .. you and I and "the girls" evenings out to eat.. Frioles was the BOMB. I appreciate all the words of wisdom you bestowed upon me & for the Love you showed to me & moreso to my girls, Aire'ale and Amber & for the guidance you gave to them. They affectionately called you, "Mama Pat" for a reason. I was never with worry or fear as you looked out for them during their years at BA and loved all the family times we shared throughout the years. U trusted me enough to share your family as well and allow me to be a part of them. I know you are in a better place and suffer, shall you no more.. I know you have earned your place in the heavens and God truly has an Angel beside him. I will always be here for Mike and the Family if ever they need me.. and even if they don't. Rest from this place my Friend.. until We Meet Again.. and "I thank God in All My Remembrances of You" (Phillipians 1:3) for I Shall Remember You for a Lifetime... Your Friend Forever, A-Very.

Pat,
I loved you so much as , a confidant, telling funny stories , joking with Lupe, and of course
comparing our perfume!
You have a ball on those streets of gold and what a joyous time it will be when all come together!
Love you and Rest In Peace! Georgea Anna

I always had great respect for Pat. She was kind, had a great sense of humor and was the utmost professional. We loved enjoying spreads of food together hidden away in the counselors office. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing and know that our world has lost a wonderful woman and Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. May Gods light shine upon her forever and may He grant her eternal rest.

I always knew that if there was a problem to solve concerning a student, Pat Paris was the counselor you wanted. She was a dear friend to students and staff. She will be missed.
