Paul Alex Goodrich, 87, of Farmers Branch, TX peacefully passed away Tuesday October 19, 2010. He is survived by wife, Mary Goodrich; daughter, Betty Zane; sons, Tom and Don Goodrich; and grandchildren, David, Joshua, Jennifer, and Andrew. He is preceded in death by beloved daughter Karen and dog Fluff.
Paul was born December 28, 1922 in Sioux City, IA to a family of Russian immigrants. As a youth, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dog Jigs. He enlisted in the Army during World War II, and was stationed in Yuma, AZ.
He married Mary Stabile in 1948, and after living in CA and MN, they settled in Dallas, TX in 1963 where he worked as a mechanic for Braniff Airlines for over 30 years.
After retirement, Paul enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, watching Dallas Cowboy football games, and fishing with his grandchildren. He is remembered with love by his family and friends.
Visitation is Friday October 22 from 12:00 to 3:00 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Service is Friday October 22 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
