Rachel “Rae” Utay Goldfaden Adams was born on August 1, 1928 to Celia and Max Utay in Dallas, TX and passed away on February 14th. She is survived by her loving sister Minnette Klein and her children Harold Goldfaden and his partner Allen Dickstein, daughter Celane Goldfaden and her son, Adam. Rae is also survived by her two special nieces Celia Saunders and Melinda Halsted. She is a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El and a graduate of Forest Avenue H.S. Rae was an active member of the State African Violet Society, a professional seamstress, and owner of Hollywood Cleaners. Graveside services will be held Sunday, Feb.18 at Shearith Israel Cemetery at 3:15 followed by a reception at 5:00pm and a 6:00pm minyan at Temple Emanu-El 8500 Hillcrest.
