Rama Dell Kelso

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 74 years, James Kelso, her baby son, James Jr, her daughter, Tonja. Her three brothers (Elvis, Loy & Lewin), her two sisters (Jenny & Irene) and all of her sibling’s spouses. Her great grandson, Kendall Colby Knighton and great granddaughter, Klarrisa Knighton; her son in law, Allen Manning. Also preceding her in death are most of her cousins, whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her daughter, Teena Kelso-Manning of Dallas, TX, her granddaughter, Cynthia Rigby Otterson and husband Vic of Macon Georgia, her grandson, Michael Rigby, her great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Kyler Knighton all of Macon Georgia, and her great great grandchildren, Silas & Mae and their mother, Amanda also of Macon, Georgia, and many nieces & nephews that she dearly loved. Her two cousins, Joynell Evans and Barbara Johnson.

She retired from the Dallas Independent School District after 25 years of employment. She was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church and a member of Agape Love Sunday School class.

A visitation for Rama will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
