Lived most of his life in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Dallas, Texas. He was a Captain in the military serving over 20 years and graduated from law school at the age of 84, magna cum laude.
Preceded in death by his wife Mercedes and daughter Dolores.
He is survived by children Guaroa (and his wife Lily), Fortunio (and is wife Janet), Emmanuel, Dulce (and her husband Manuel), Ramon (and his wife Yaniris) and Iris Alexandra, grandchildren Emmanuel (and his wife Rochelle), Janet, George, Ilonka, Karina, Taiana, Guaroa, Sabrina, Hector Juan, Issais, Jose Juan, Guaro Kavec, Thais, Karina, Raymond (and his wife Claudia), Carlos, Raul (and his wife Aimee), Laura, Michelle, Nicole, Ricardo, Roberto, and Cristina, and great grandchildren Mateo, Lucia, and Sophia.
Memorial service will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, 75225 on Monday, January 9, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation on Sunday at Sparkman/Hillcrest on January 8, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. Ramon will be interred in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
