Ramona Millan Quiroz, age 90, of Dallas TX. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 4th of Oct. of complications due to diabetes. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Conrad Quiroz and her loving son Richard Quiroz.
Ramona was born and raised on a ranch between Balmorhea & Fort Davis TX. Her joy was riding and caring for the horses at the ranch, especially caring for her own horse, "Charlie". Ramona married Conrad Quiroz in 1942 and settled in Marfa TX. Of this happy union they were blessed with a daughter and 3 sons. Mrs. Quiroz focused on raising her family while Conrad ran his construction business. In 1950, the Quiroz family moved to Odessa, TX to expand his business and raise their family. In 1968 they moved to Dallas Texas where the family flourished with the blessings of the new family & friends, many who are present here today in celebration of the life of Ramona Quiroz.
She was devoted to her family & happiest when she was surrounded by them. Above all she was a wonderful wife & mother and lived to dote on all her grandchildren.
Ramona is survived by a daughter Laura Hernandez of Dallas TX., son Conrad Quiroz Jr. (Adela) of Midland TX., Leo Quiroz (Sylvia) of Dallas, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grand children.
Mrs. Quiroz will be dearly missed by family & friends that expanded over 90 years.
