Raul Alvarado passed away peacefully in his sleep on his 80th birthday, May 29, 2025, at his home in Quinlan, Texas. Born in Valle de Zaragoza, Chihuahua Mexico on May 29, 1945, Raul lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to his family, and a tireless work ethic.
A proud third-generation master plumber, Raul dedicated his life to a craft he deeply respected, earning the trust of countless families and businesses over the decades. He was known not just for his skill and reliability, but for the integrity he brought to every job and the kindness he extended to everyone he met.
Raul was also a devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Greenville, where his faith was a guiding light throughout his life. He was active in his church community and drew great comfort and purpose from his spiritual life, sharing his beliefs through both word and example.
Outside of work and church, Raul found joy in the simple pleasures of life especially fishing. Whether casting a line at a quiet lake or sharing stories on the shore, fishing was more than a hobby to him-it was a source of peace, reflection, and connection with nature.
Raul was the proud father of four children. He is survived by three of them: Alfred Alvarado, Maggie Alvarado, and Susy Alvarado. He was preceded in death by one beloved child, Mario Alvarado. His legacy continues through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will remember him as a steady presence, a source of wisdom, and a man who always made time for those he loved.
Raul's life was a testament to hard work, humility, unwavering faith, and love of family.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered!
