

Rececca Rico Magaña was born in San Antonio, TX on January 15, 1942 to Juan Guerra Rico, Jr., abd Dolores (Morales) Rico. She entered into rest in the comfort of her home in Dallas, TX on October 2, 2017. Rebecca was a caring, compassionate, and strong woman. She was a devoted catholic who loved spending time with her family. She never failed to give her children blessing before leaving the house. Rebecca also loved to cook tamales for Christmas. She had a big heart and was a person you could lean on for support. Rebecca absolutely lobed to eat the deliciously cooked catfish caught from her son’s fishing trips— a memory the entire family can cherish. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart she touched. She is survived by her sons, Benito Magaña III, Silvetre Magaña and wife Adriana Garcia; grandchildren, Alexis, Savannah, Chloe, Sabrina, Samantha, Izais, and Isaac Magaña; one great-grandbaby, Jayleon Rivas; brothers, Tomas, Ignacio and Raul Rico; sisters, Helen Reyes and Juana Soto. The visitation will be held on October 8, 2017 from 5:00PM-9:00PM, Rosary at 7:00PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will beheld on October 9, 2017 at 12:00PM at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery, burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
