Jones Jr, Richard Joel 46, of Dallas, TX, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2012. "Rick" was born on October 5, 1965 to Richard and Rosemary Jones. A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Rick was a true patriot who served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1993. He also loved the great state of Texas and seemed happiest when he was on one of his numerous outdoor adventures across the state. He worked for many years as a dedicated and respected employee at the Fairmont Hotel and he was honored to have had the opportunity to meet some very interesting people, and many friends. Above all, Rick loved a good joke and he will be remembered for that, along with a gentle spirit and compassion for those he cared about. He is survived by his father, Richard J. Jones, Sr; his mother, Rosemary Jones; his sister, Gretchen Ohlheiser and her husband Scott; his sister, Kristen Wilson and her husband Rob; his brother, Scott Jones; his nephew, Gage Jones; his niece, Peri Wilson; his nephew, Rees Wilson; his niece, Abby Ohlheiser; and numerous friends. We are heartbroken over our loss and will forever feel his absence. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, April 6th at Grove Hill Funeral Home in Dallas.
