

Rick was born on April 25, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio, but spent the majority of his life in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Austin, Dallas, and Rowlett, Texas. Rick primarily worked as a sheet metal worker, and participated in the construction of a number of local developments ranging from the Bank of America Building to Nordstrom.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Foren (Nee Chandler), his brother, Michael Mausteller, and his beloved grandson, Drake Foren.
He is survived by his wife, Angelina LaPenotiere; children, Tracie Wigley and husband, Audie, Greg Foren, and Mary Higginbotham and husband Brady; father, Carrol Foren; sisters, Debra Foren Sterling, Linda Fulcher and husband Floyd, and Karen Entwhistle and husband James; grandchildren, Austin and Tanner Wigley, Ava Foren, Dylan Worley, and Alexander Higginbotham; as well as a huge and cherished extended family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 9, at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made to the Rowlett Honor Guard Pipes and Drums Auxiliary, 924 Silktree Dr., Rockwall, Texas 75087 (an organization that brought great comfort to them following the loss of Rick’s grandson, Drake), or to the charity of your choice.
