He was educated in Dallas and completed his education at Wilmer Hutchins High School.
Ricky was a member of the Church of Christ. He was baptized and was a devout and faithful servant of Jesus Christ.
His zest for life and loving nature was well known to all who knew him. Ricky had a passion for music of all types. His favorite artist was Jimi Hendrix; and favorite musical instrument was the guitar which he could play himself like a pro.
Rickey was OSHEA certified and his main line profession was Construction and Cabinetry.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Barbara Phillips.
Ricky leaves to cherish his precious memories: Brother; Kenneth Wayne Moore, Sisters; Vickie and Linda Phillips, Brothers; Victor and Ronald Phillips a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
