

Robert was born on September 26, 1984 in Marshall, Missouri, to Robb and Carolyn Krecklow. Mr. Krecklow was baptized on November 4, 1984 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall. He confirmed his baptismal vows on April 25, 1999 at Christ Lutheran Church in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Rob, as many of his friends called him, was raised across the Midwest, growing up in Missouri, Colorado, and Nebraska. He was the middle child between two sisters, Jennifer and Patricia.
A lifelong learner with a remarkable intellect, Robert excelled in academics. In 2007, Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, graduating with high honors also earning a Chancellor's Medal.
Mr. Krecklow honed his exceptional skills as an actor by performing in many productions with Shakespeare Dallas, Trinity Shakespeare, Theatre Arlington, Allen Contemporary Theatre, and Stolen Shakespeare Guild. He originated the role of Dusty in the musical The Burnt Part Boys at it’s workshop in Nebraska before performing the role at Barrington Stage Company and receiving positive reviews from Boston and New York theater critics. He was also a talented guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who performed for more than 20 years.
Beyond the stage, Rob worked in hospitality for six years at Marriott and then served as a secondary educator for eight years. As a high school theater and English teacher, he
shared his love of learning and passion for the arts, while helping his students see their potential beyond graduation.
A funeral service and reception for Mr. Krecklow will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas. Internment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
Robert is survived by his parents, Robb and Carolyn Krecklow of Dallas, Texas; sister Jennifer (Tim) Randall of Haslet, Texas; and sister Patricia (Bryan) Salcedo of Melissa, Texas. He is also survived by three nephews, Benjamin, Owen, and Emerson.
