

Rolando was raised in Mexico and moved to Dallas, Texas when he was four years old. He attended St. Mary of Carmen in 1968. He married Maria Robledo in 1978 and the couple had six children. He was a Lead Parts Manager at AER Manufacturing where he worked for more than forty-five years.
In his spare time, Rolando enjoyed watching the Cowboys play, fishing, going out on boat rides and watching his grandkids play sports. He enjoyed giving his wife a hard time and most of all, being with his family. His family and friends will always remember him as a hard worker, loving, selfless and the most giving person. Rolando gave selflessly, he was passionate about his family. He was quiet but when he spoke you listened. He loved sports. He never wanted to retire until his “girls” finally forced him to. He loved teasing his wife but most importantly he loved leading his family religiously. The rule at home was always if you went out on a Saturday night you better be up for church on Sunday.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Montiel; father, Agustin Carrillo; grandmother Agripina Robledo; granddaughter, Makayla Barrera; brothers-in-law, Sergio Sanchez, Ernesto Sanchez and mother-in-law, Cira Dominguez.
He is survived by his spouse, Maria Robledo; daughters, Monica Barrera, Michelle O'Dell, Melinda Robledo, Maritza Collins; sons, Rolando Jr., Robledo, Ruben Robledo; sons-in-law, Joe Barrera, Lance O'Dell and Spencer Collins; twelve grandchildren, Ruben Robledo Jr., Miranda Robledo, Grace O'Dell, Isaiah Barrera, Mariah Barrera, Macy Arellano, Zion O'Dell, Mason Arellano, Hailey Barrera, Judah Robledo, Lennox Robledo, Malcolm Collins. and one on the way; brother, Urbano Robledo; sister-in-law, Bertha; brother-in-law, Nemecio; eleven nieces, seven nephews and many other family and friends.
