Rosemary Mancill Berry, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, from cancer. Rosemary was a truly joyful person and a delight to all who knew her. She was a 1951 honors graduate of Highland Park High School and a 1955 honors graduate of the University of Texas, after having attended Sweet Briar College and SMU. She was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity.
She is survived by former husband, James T. Berry, Denver, CO, son James T. Jr, Dallas, Texas, his former wife, Tracy, grandson Timothy and his wife, Lesley, and great-grandchildren Oliver and Margaux, all of Dallas, granddaughter Taylor, a college student in upstate NY, as well as son David and his wife Carrie Ann, St. Louis, MO, his former wife, Virginia, and granddaughters Rachel and Katherine, all of Seattle, WA.
A Requiem Mass will be held Thursday, April 12th at 1:00 PM at St. Francis Anglican Church, 3838 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75229, with a reception to follow at the Parish Hall, and interment at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
