Rudolph Castro, age 74, passed away July 5, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 28, 1947 in San Antonio, TX to Espiridion & Angelita Castro. Rudy was raised in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1965.
Rudy proudly served his country as a Petty Officer, First Class, United States Navy for twenty-two years. He married Henrietta Martinez in 1970 and the couple had two children. He was an Aviation Electrician in the US Navy where he worked for more than 22 years.
In his spare time, Rudy enjoyed Texas Rangers baseball, John Wayne movies, old country & western music. He also enjoyed spending time with his two beloved grand daughters. His family and friends will always remember him as a stern but loving person full of "Dad jokes" and funny stories.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Henrietta; Parents, Espiridion and Angelita; Grand-daughter, Kara Grace; Brothers, Albert and Benjamin Castro.
Rudy is survived by: Daughters, Kathleen Vilchis and Angela Castro; Grand-daughters, Rhiannon Isabella and Athena Marie; Brothers, Henry, Tony Roger and Gregory Castro.
