Ruth Ann Dixon passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 at the age of 66. Ruth was born in Kaufman, Texas, to Fred Eldridge and Lela Davis. At a young age, the family moved to Dallas, Texas where she grew up, attended school and raised her children.
Ruth gave her life to the Lord and was Baptized September of 2009. She is a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher. She loved her church family and was always grateful to have a church home that is welcoming and treated people with love and respect.
In 2014 She married her long-term boyfriend Linnell Dixon. As was happy to enjoy 11 years of their 18 years as husband and wife.
Ruth is preceded in death by her father and brothers: Barry Joe, Michael Lynn, Kenneth Wayne and Leon Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband Linnell Dixon, her son Christopher Hill (Danya) of Rockwall, Tx and daughter Chevalier Hill-George (Joseph) of Mansfield, Tx., her much loved grandchildren Ayanna, Aayan, Zachary and Skylar, and her Mother Lela Langley, sister Shelia Kay and brother Ronald and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
