Sammy Trizza

Sammy D. Trizza was born on July 7, 1926 in Dallas, Texas to Dominic and Katie (Nuccio) Trizza. He joined the United States Navy in 1942 and served honorably overseas until 1946. Sammy never met a stranger. He was beloved by family and friends who never failed to be made happy by his infectious smile and warm personality.

Sammy is survived by his daughter, Gina Trizza; sister, Mary Worley; nephew, Joe Barraco, niece, Johnette (Trizza) Troxel,, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of loving family members and friends. Special thanks to nephew, Tony Domomio, who visited him many times during his illness.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Katie Trizza; brothers, Vinson and John; sisters, Frances and Grace, and his daughter, Kathy Trizza Rogers.

The family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the North Chapel Mausoleum at Calvary Hill Cemetery 3235 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, Texas 75220. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Monsignor Milam Joseph at 10:00 AM after the Visitation. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
