She attended Eastfield Junior College and later became an interpreter for the deaf.
Sandie was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas and she loved creating greeting cards and camping with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Childress Frank Banks and Joy Constince Farrah, son: Don Russell Cohen and daughter: Melissa De Ann Cohen Reed.
She is survived by husband Donny Cohen, children: Michael David Cohen and Michelle Cohen Hubbard, grandchildren: Tyler Evan Cohen, Dalton Abercrombie, Megan Hubbard, Dillion Reed and Dawson Reed, step-grandson: Johnathan Hubbard, great-grandson: Jackson Wyatt Cohen
Some of Sandie's extended family members include Glen Hubbard and Dawn Benson Cohen.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1pm with the Funeral Service at 2pm, both at Grove Hill Funeral Home. A Committal will immediately follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
