Sandra Sue Bothwell

Sandra S. Bothwell, 77, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Sandra was born in Chicago, IL. on May 21, 1937 to Arthur and Virginia LaCroix. While serving in the US Air Force, her father was stationed in The Phillipines. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, James Hyde Bothwell. After retiring from the Air Force, James and Sandra owned and operated several Hallmark Stores in Longview, TX and in Irving, TX where they were longtime residents and members of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. Throughout her career and despite her husband's passing, Sandra remained a very devoted mother to her 5 children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her furry children (cats and dogs), being a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, traveling and shopping (especially at Big Lots!). Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James. Those left to treasure her memory are her daughters: Carrie Worthy and husband, Joe, Emmie Kroul and husband, Tom, Saundra Groves and husband, Kyle; sons: Jim Bothwell and wife, Karla and Richard Bothwell; grandchildren: Jennifer, James, Samantha, Michael, Cody K., Amanda, Ashley, Cody G., Ami and their families; 11 great grandchildren with one on the way; brothers: Jay, Sean, and Patrick; sister, Ginger; beloved furry grandkids: Spot and Jack and many other loving family and friends.
