We all have favorite members - those we truly connect with. They are the ones who listen, who share, and who make us laugh.  

And if we are very lucky, we find all those qualities in one special person.  For me, that person was my aunt Sandra. 

Her wonderful smile and infectious laugh are unforgettable. 

Thank you Sandra for sharing your life and your love. 



I loved working with Sandra at Sparkman/Hillcrest. She always had such impeccable taste and we would talk about her family, her jewelry (especially her brooches!) and makeup (lipsticks for the most part) on a daily basis. 
Her laugh was like no other. She was a genuine lady, one of a kind. She had a heart of gold and made everyone feel special. The world has lost a wonderful being but heaven gained a beautiful soul. 
I hope you’re dancing in the sky, and I hope you’re singing in the angels’ choir. ❤️

Sandra taught me so much here at Sparkman/Hillcrest.  Always kind, with a compliment and smile, she was a bright light here at work.  I will miss her laugh and will miss the wonderful friendship we had established.  RIP Sandra -  love you bunches!

A  genuine Texas lady with a heart of gold, Miss Sandra was a love, a light, and a joy. I will always cherish her warm kindness and great humor (my jokes were always funnier when I was telling them to her - I LOVED to make her laugh!) she will always have a special place in my heart. My condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues - how fortunate we all are to have had her in our lives.❤

It is so sad to learn of Sandra’s passing. I always looked forward to my visits to Sparkman-Hillcrest as her Clark Grave Vault rep. Her laugh and warm smile could always improve my day. There were few, too few, like her in the world.

Sandra will be greatly missed at Sparkman/Hillcrest.  Sandra always had a beautiful smile, dressed with impeccable taste and always wore a beautiful brooch on her coat. Sandra had a laughter that would fill the hallways and a voice anyone could recognize.  

Sandra was always ready for a good joke.  When we would share a joke at the morning board meetings, Sandra always busted out in laughter, even if the joke was terrible!  After getting a haircut, the next morning,  Sandra looked at me and said "Brock, did you get a toupee?" 

Sandra was an encyclopedia of knowledge when it came to the history of Sparkman/Hillcrest. She also knew the history behind any family buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park. 

Her friendship, smile, laughter and work ethic will be missed by the Sparkman/Hillcrest team.  

May Sandra's family find peace in knowing that you were her source of pride and happiness.  She loved to brag about you and share stories of her family.

My sweet, sweet Sandra!  I am so heart broken to hear of this.  I enjoyed working with you during my time at Hillcrest.  You were always smiling and a great person to be around!  

Sandra is one of those special people that has left such an impression on our hearts, and we are never the same for it. In this way, we are lucky, even as we mourn such a sad loss, we will treasure the memories of her. 


A truly beautiful lady inside and out. We will miss her smile, sense of humor, and laugh. Our lives have been enriched by knowing her for the past eight years. 

What a sweet and wonderful lady.  Sandra  was always ready to help with a smile and a kind word.  I worked with her years back.  What a wealth of knowledge she had.  And willing to share and to help others.  Sandra had such compassion for the families served at Hillcrest.  She will be missed.
