Loving Mother, Mother-in-Law & Meme, On Wednesday, March 18, 2020,

Sandra Jean Frizzell Stubbs of Dallas, TX passed away at the age of 73.

Sandra was born March 14, 1947 in Dallas, TX to the late Leroy & Doris Frizzell.

Sandra worked at Sears Roebuck & Co for 43 years following the footsteps of her Mother and Aunt. Her world was, of course, cooking, so much so she rarely ate out. She loved shopping, mostly to the grocery store and with her friends being thrifty. Her love for groceries began in her early childhood, as her grandmother, Sophie Stegman, owned her own grocery store. Sandra would go country western dance, and watch any western under the sun (as long as John Wayne or the Calvary were involved). Although she had many crafty hobbies, her favorite thing to do was care and love on her granddaughter Sophie; spending many days with her watching movies, in the kitchen pretending to have a cooking show and Meme being her number one customer at their pretend grocery store. Lastly, what we call “Meme-isms”. These are phrases or words she would sometimes mix up and give us all, including Meme, a laugh: Rings of the Lord, Bing Bang Theory, Bath Body & Beyond, Rickie vie van (Stevie Ray Vaughn) and finally, light bob (light bulb), Wi 5 (Wi Fi), Nyland Roland (Nolan Ryan). Sandra loved her family with all her heart, her love and contagious laugh will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her Son Steven Stubbs, daughter-in-law Shannon Stubbs and granddaughter Sophie Stubbs, her Uncle Ronnie, Aunt Michelle Stegman and Aunt Alma Nell Stegman.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Doris Frizzell,

and grandparents Sophie and Delmar Stegman.

Due to the current circumstances with the COVID-19, the family will be having a private interment service, on Tuesday March 24th at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
