Sandra Wilson was born on November 13, 1955, to Mary and Sam Wilson. Sandra peacefully departed this earthly life surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, grace, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Sandra was raised in Dallas, where she attended Dallas ISD schools, including Paul L. Dunbar Elementary School, Pearl C. Anderson Middle School, and later graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in 1974.
At an early age, Sandra dedicated her life to Christ and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her journey. She was a faithful and devoted member of Holy Spirit Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in ministry and generously gave her time wherever she was needed. Whether through service, support, or simply being a comforting presence to others, Sandra quietly lived out her faith through her actions. Her servant’s heart, unwavering trust in God, and commitment to her church family were evident to all who knew her.
Sandra devoted more than 30 years of dedicated service to Texas Instruments/Raytheon TI, where her strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment earned the admiration and respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Above all else, Sandra treasured her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her only daughter, LaShondra D’Ann, whom she adored beyond measure. Her greatest joy continued through her grandsons, Kenneth Sneed Jr. and Knox Sneed, who brought immeasurable pride, laughter, and love into her life.
Sandra found joy in caring for others and was the kind of person people could always depend on. Whether family, friends, or loved ones were in need, she showed up without hesitation, offering support, encouragement, and love in both big and small ways. She carried the heart of a caretaker, always making sure those around her felt seen, cared for, and supported.
She also enjoyed shopping and had a special eye for finding beauty and joy in the little things. Sandra loved singing and was blessed with a voice that many described as angelic, touching the hearts of all fortunate enough to hear her. She was generous in spirit, resilient through life’s challenges, and carried herself with grace, humility, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Sam Wilson; her brothers, Larry Wilson, Oliver Wilson, and Raymond Wilson; her nephew, LeShard Wilson and her beloved granddaughter, Kinley Grace Sneed.
Sandra leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter, LaShondra Sneed (Kenneth); her grandsons, Kenneth Sneed Jr. and Knox Sneed; her siblings, Margaret Godbolt, Marilyn Wilson, and Sam Wilson Jr.; faithful friend of many years, Missie Wilson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched and blessed by knowing her.
Though she will be deeply missed, Sandra’s love, faith, strength, and selfless spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
