Born to Wylie and Jean Clack on August 3, 1950, Sara grew up in Dallas, Texas alongside her sister, Carolyn (Clack) Lee, before she passed suddenly on July 6, 2016. Sara often shared many a fond memory of her upbringing, and held a profound admiration and respect for her father that she carried with her long after his passing. A proud alumni of Thomas Jefferson High School and Texas Tech University, Sara began her career as a teacher before accomplishing countless triumphs in her 30+ year mortgage profession. Her fondness of gardening, affection for dogs and dedicated work ethic were lovingly passed on to her son, Ross. She greatly enjoyed travelling and visiting music venues with her close friends as well as cutting up with her beloved coworkers over the years. In lieu of flowers, perform an unsolicited and unexpected random act of kindness in her honor. Everyone that knew Sara is asked to celebrate her life in their own way but always remember, never cease to send love to those you hold dear knowing that any moment could be your last and to cherish those memories forever. The Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home with a reception to follow at 7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
