He is survived by his wife, Erin and son, Eli; his mother, Judy Moore Ordemann and his stepdad, Tom; his father, Jim Moore and fiancee, Athena Hogue; sister, Crystal Kachmar, brother-in-law, Rob, and their children, Tristan, Hallie and Bryce; his grandmother, Harriett Ordemann, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, devoted friends and a multitude of Godchildren.
Scott was a proud graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and Texas Tech University, where he pledged the Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) Fraternity. He is also a graduate of South Texas College of Law and was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2003. He practiced as a Criminal Defense Attorney in North Texas for over seventeen years.
The visitation will be held from 5-8pm on the 25th of June, 2020, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, 75225.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on the 26th of June, 2020, at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75244, presided over by Monsignor Milam Joseph. The pallbearers are Greg Basden, Ryan Boldrick, cousin Brian Boswell, Ryan Bright, Mike Burkhart, Jim Cable, Jonathan Couch, Mike DeLier, Mike Eggleton, Ryan Frey, Mike Hatfield, Chuck Maretzky, Mark Martin, Nate Powell, Eric Rieger, Reid Sampson, David Vollmer and Lee Williams. The honorary pallbearers are Judge Sean Finn, Scott's late brother, Jason Moore, and Bill Bailey.
The family requests that memorials be sent to Jesuit College Preparatory School, 12345 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75244.
Please note that the church and the family require that a face mask be worn at the visitation, as well as the funeral.
