Age 83, passed away on May 22, 2018 in Dallas, TX. She was born December 2, 1934 in Ingleside, TX to Desiderio Cazares Ruiz & Petra Gallegos Guzman. Sofia was raised in Mexico.

She married Guadalupe Arnoldo Castillo in August 1960 and couple had 6 children. In her spare time Sofia enjoyed gardening, dancing and spending time with her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong willed, independent and spiritual woman.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Guadalupe Castillo, Son, Enrique Castillo. Father, Desiderio Cazares Ruiz; Mother, Petra Gallegos Guzman. She is survived by: Daughters, Ena Rocha, Betty A. Castillo, Sonya H. Ramos & Maria I Pulley; Son, Ricky Castillo; Seventeen Grandchildren & Twenty Two Great-Grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.
