Hard to imagine that it's been over a year since Stan died....whew.....it's tough to absorb. Have been looking back at so many photos of Stan from the time I met him till the last time I saw him. I was glad that I was able to tell my mom before SHE died that Stan has passed away. She was very fond of Stan and I'm grateful she understood what I was telling her amidst her dementia. Stan.....Jesse and I love you and miss you. My mom loved you too. I'm hoping your family and your beautiful wife are somewhere on the road to healing. If you see my mom in Heaven, tell her I miss her. And I hope you both behave!!

Carolyn, on behalf of your friends the Zuniga's our prayers go out to you and your family on the loss of your Husband.

Dear Carolyn and Dunklin family...I just discovered the guest book.  I think about Stan every day.  He was one of a kind, had the kindest heart and he is sincerely missed.  God bless you and may you find peace and comfort in the memories he made with you. I am bless to have called him my friend.

I haven't seen Stanley since high school, but his impression on me never left.  A funny, sweet guy who always made me smile. To still have such an indelible impression of someone you haven't seen in 40 years speaks volumes about Stanley's character and personality.

I'll never forget the times you would sneak that hopped up pregnant roller skate past Zeke's both at the high school parking lot or the good time's we had when working at the Bovarian steak house back in high school. I knew Stan years ago in my old neighborhood.  He was always so sweet and funny and treated me with such kindness.  I lost track of Stan, but never  forgot him or his sweet nature.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this 
challenging and sad time.

It's been 30 years or so since I last saw him, but he left such a sweet impression in my life.  He was just one of those truly sweet, caring and funny people that everybody loved being around.  He will be missed greatly, but heaven is a brighter place now.

Carolyn, I have never met you but know you because everytime I saw Stan, he always spoke of you.  I am Steve Rivera's (Steve The Wrench) wife and have know Stan for many years.  My thoughs and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  Stan was a great guy and I will miss his coming around just to say hi.  I saw him the morning of April 7th and I talked about my grandaughter and he talked about your dogs.  He always complained about them but I knew better. I know he enjoyed them.

Stan was an active friend in my life for many, many years. He eventually became an active friend in my husband's life.

As I look through photos and reflect on SO very many memories, I feel blessed that Stan's life touched mine and my husband's. We are heart-broken.

I hope Stan is now fishing in Heaven and playing with Sadie. I hope he has reconnected with his father, Ric and Mike and other family members that have gone before him.

I'm certain he's already looking down from his appointed room in Heaven and caring for Carolyn, his family and his friends...............Stan was fiecely loyal, protective and one of the funniest men I've ever known.

It is such terribly sad news, but as I reflect on "Stan" memories, I've found myself laughing many times thinking about the most simple life experiences that Stan could magically turn into a joyous moments.
