Stanley Prichard

Stanley Ray Prichard was born on October 8, 1945 in Elida, NM to Arnold Prichard and Mary Lee Ray. He married Rosemary Gerdsen on June 12, 1982 in Canyon, Tx. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and loved the Lord. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1993 in Europe, Korea and various locations throughout the United States. He was assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, NC. Upon retirement from the military, he worked as an Economic Development Analyst for the City of Dallas for 15 years. Stan was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary of Plano and other precious family members. Stan's family expresses their gratitude to those who cared for him during his final months of his life, his many friends who made his life enjoyable and his colleagues who made his work interesting and worthwhile. Stan will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Tx. 75225. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, 6121 E. Lovers Lane, Dallas, Tx with the Reverend Dr. Robert C. Preece, officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery at 10:15 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2013.
