

Stella Fay Crow Dillard, a woman of grace, strength, and enduring love, passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 92 in Southlake, Texas. Born on June 3, 1931, Stella's life was marked by a remarkable journey that touched the hearts of many.
Stella proudly served her country as a member of the United States Army, where fate led her to a love that would last a lifetime. In the Army, she met her beloved husband, Delbert C. "Red" Dillard, who preceded her in death in 2019. Stella and Red shared 65 years of a loving and steadfast marriage that became a source of inspiration to all who knew them. During her service to her country, Stella received the National Defense Service Medal.
In addition to her military service, Stella dedicated her time and energy to nurturing the next generation as a Cub Scout leader, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of young men under her guidance.
Stella's love extended to her role as a loving grandmother, where she shared her wisdom and warmth with her grandchildren, Meghan Dillard, Stella Dillard, and Julia Dillard. They will forever cherish the special moments and affectionate care she provided.
Surviving family members include her devoted sons, Delbert Markham Dillard and Thomas Earl Dillard, and her three granddaughters Meghan Dillard, Stella Dillard, and Julia Dillard – who will carry forward the legacy of a remarkable woman.
The Dillard family will gather for a private memorial service on Saturday, January 27, 2024, to celebrate Stella's life and bid a heartfelt farewell.
Stella Fay Crow Dillard will be remembered for her service to her country, her loving marriage, and for the immeasurable devotion she showered upon her grandchildren.
