Stephanie Jones-Reedy, a Stay-At-Home mother, left this world far too soon on June 4, 2025. Born in Monroe, LA, Stephanie was a beacon of light, illuminating the lives of those around her. As a young child, she was baptized at an early age and attended Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Stephanie attended Ouachita Parish High School in Monroe, Louisiana and later moved to Dallas, Texas in her senior year where she attended Bryan Adams High School in 1989. She held several administrative positions during her career in banking and the auto industry.
Kindness flowed through Stephanie's veins. She was the auntie/sister to all of her nieces and nephews before having her first born. She was preceded in death by her father, James Louis; mother, Betty Ann Jones; grandmother, Hazel Lewis; great-aunt, Ruth Williams and late husband, Darryl Reedy, Sr.
Stephanie is survived by her significant other, Chris Rector; her sons, Da’Jon Reedy (DJ) and Darryl Reedy, Jr. (Octavia); granddaughter, Brooklyn Reedy; her siblings, Bruce Jones (Mary), Cynthia Mahomes (Leroy, Jr.), and Tante Lane (Billy, Jr.), and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who love her dearly.
Rest in peace, our beloved Stephanie. Your unwavering love for family will forever echo in our hearts.
