On the morning of July 12, 2016, Teresa Rosales-Penny passed away peacefully to join her brother and nephew in heaven. Teresa was born in Dallas on November 21, 1960. She was the youngest of five children. After attending St. Elizabeth School she graduated from Bishop Dunne Catholic School and was a proud Oak Cliff resident for over 50 years. To those who knew her, Teresa was a lively spirit; with a heart full of love for God and her family. She loved cooking, spending time with her family, and the color purple. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Penny and son, Joseph Lucas Penny. She is also survived by her mother, Georgia Rosales; her siblings, John Rosales, Isabel Arista and Paul Rosales; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
The visitation will be held from 4pm -8pm July 14th at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, with a rosary at 6pm. The funeral mass will be at 9:30 am on July 15th at St. Elizabeth with a procession to Calvary Hill Funeral Home immediately following.
