Thomas Seth Lopez

Thomas Seth Lopez, born to R.J. Lopez and Beatrice Lopez on November 23rd, 1962, passed away on August 5th, 2024 at the age of 61 in Dallas, Texas. Thomas was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Holy Trinity primary school and Bishop Lynch High school and graduated in 1981.

Thomas met Mary Najera on December 1977 and married on June 6th, 1981. They had 3 sons: Michael, Adam, and Anthony. He worked for Safeway stores before beginning a work career at AT&T for 38 years. He worked as a customer service technician before retiring in 2020. He also began working for City of Dallas Aviation in 2022.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time family and friends, going on vacations to the beach, going on rides on his bike, going to sporting events with the boys, and spending quality time as Welo with his grandchildren that he adored.

His family and friends will always remember him as a loving father and Welo, a loyal and respected friend, a dependable helping hand, and the life of the party who loved to dance. His fun personality and his love for his family will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father R.J. Lopez, his mother Beatrice Lopez, and baby girl Maria Eulalia.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lopez; his sons, Michael and wife, Belinda, Adam and girlfriend, Beatriz, Anthony and wife, Sarah; his grandchildren, Ben, Bella, Grayson, and Serena; his brother Roman; his only surviving aunt, Evelyn Martinez; godchildren, Christina, Jose and Anissa. He will be missed by many of his cousins, friends and extended family.
