Valentina Guevara Cervantes

Valentina was the cherished matriarch of a large and loving family whose legacy of strength, unity, and love continues through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Valentina’s life was a testament to love, faith, resilience, and devotion to family. She was the heart of her family and a guiding light whose presence brought generations together. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched and the family she so deeply loved.

She will be remembered as the matriarch of her family, whose love and strength will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rito Cervantes; her son, Lorenzo Cervantes Sr.; her daughter, Margarita Cervantes; and her grandson, Lorenzo Cervantes Jr. along with her parents, brothers, sisters, friends and family.

She is survived by her daughters: Maria L. Rios (Baldemar Rios Jr.), and San Juanita Martinez; grandchildren: Melinda Contreras (Carlos Contreras), Luisa Cervantes, Victoria Rios (Dennis Rocha), Jose Saucedo, Vanessa Vega (Raul Vega), Vivian Rios (Jesus Melendez), Christina Saucedo (Jose Gonzalez), Baldemar Rios III, Raquel (Josue Gramajo) and Claudia Sossen (Anthony Sossen); sister, Maria Cardenas.

She is also lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren: Enrique Cristerna, Lorenzo Cervantes III, Rogelio Perez Jr., Diego Torres (Maya Torres), Crystal Villarreal (Enrique Villarreal), Christopher Torres , Adrian Martinez, Andrew Martinez(Luz Martinez), Carlos Contreras, Abel Contreras, David Gonzalez, Jennifer Saucedo, Julissa Gonzalez, Anaiah Melendez, Kaliey Melendez, Samantha Melendez, Adam Saucedo, Alexander Rocha, Catalina Rocha, Edward Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzalez, Clarissa Rocha, Juliana Melendez, and Emilia Melendez.

She is also lovingly remembered by many great-great grandchildren: Ricky Cristerna, Robert Cristerna, Jaden Perez, Rogelio Perez III, Khloe Cristerna, Zaylah Villarreal, Amelia Torres, and Andrew Martinez Jr.

As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, who will cherish her memory.
