Victor Manuel did not let his humble beginnings stop him from achieving personal success. He served in the Honduran Special Forces during a brief war. He was also a member of a professional soccer team, Olympia. In 1961 he moved to Dallas Texas to be with his fiancée whom he married that same year. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior during that period. Thereafter he worked as a waiter and then as an engineer tech for John G Mitchell Co for over 18 years. He continued his hard work ethics by working at the City of Dallas for over 30 years, from which he retired.
During his working years, Victor Manuel acquired many real estate properties and served the community by providing low rent to people in need or who were just getting started with family life. His favorite bible verse Matthew 22:39 “…you shall love your neighbor as yourself” reflected the life he lived by example. Always caring about others before himself.
He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather which will be greatly missed.
