Virginia was of the Baptist Faith, and served as a life long member at Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland, Texas.
Mother passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 89 in Greenville, Texas at Legends Health Care Facility. She was surrounded by family as she passed peacefully and entered her heavenly home.
Virginia was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Virginia was an avid sports enthusiast. She was a life long fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.
Mother cherished spending time with her two sons and grandkids. Always attending all sporting events from youth league to high school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Pairlee Kirk and sister Mary Francis Shipley.
She is survived by her two sons, Gary Rumph, Mark Rumph and wife Melinda Rumph, and her 6 grandchildren; Brandy Rumph Cantley and husband Jay Cantley, Ryan Rumph, Cody Rumph and wife Taylor Rumph, Payton Rumph, Kacie Rumph, Mandy Johnson and husband Lewis Johnson and 3 great grandchildren; Wren Rumph, McKenzie Johnson, and Lacie Johnson.
