

Bill traveled around the world his entire life, many of those years with his partner Jan. In addition to travel, he enjoyed classical music and keeping up with world events. He also enjoyed the art of cooking.
He was a member of “Y” in both Brooklyn and Dallas for over 80 years. He graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn in 1953 where some knew him as Bill and some as Greg. An outstanding swimmer, he worked as a lifeguard at Rockaway Beach and Atlantic Beach, as well as, Atlantic Beach Clubs in Long Island. He always worked in multiple capacities at Jahn’s Ice Cream Parlor in Queens before entering in the US Army.
After his service, he worked in the formative years of Sealand Shipping Company in Maspeth, Queens before his employment with Arrow Fastener in Brooklyn where he trained in learning the business of industrial stapling equipment involving the fashion industry, schools, upholstering, building trades and general business communities. The resulted in his relocation to Dallas in 1962 as lead representative for Arrow Fastener covering six states before opening his own business, Atlas Staple Company, which operated successfully for 30 years. Although his home was Dallas, he never forgot his Brooklyn roots.
He retired at age 62 and continued to travel the world and cruise the high seas.
Bill is survived dear friend and partner Janice Gregory of Dallas, Texas, and his sister Patricia Judge of New York City, New York. His parents preceded him in death.
