At the rising of the sun and at its going down
We remember them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter

At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring

To Shirley Savannah, my deepest sympathy is for you.

To The Family/My Family of Rev. Savannah:
What a kind spirited man you were!  After 76 blessed years of life, I'm sure you  received a mighty welcome with our Lord Jesus Christ.  Rejoice with the angels, sit at the feet of Jesus gracefully and take your rest.  What an honor to have known you my friend.   God said job well done my son!   As you were the perfect example of a great Pastor, husband, father and friend.  You will truly be missed Rev. Savannah.

With deep appreciation for a very loyal caring friend,  Iam honored to be given and opportunity to express a few words about my dear friend.
Rev. Savannah was truly an amazing person with a big heart and giver to all he came in contact with. He was called to be a Teacher of God's word, as well as planting seeds in young people through the public school system.  Rev. Savannah was determined to give you something that bettered your life whenever you were in his presence. 
I will miss him greatly,  but never forget the life lessons that he taught me.
To his dear wife Shirley, my prayers will be with you and memories of how he expressed the joy that you brought to him, as his wife.  He was a happy man who loved you very much.
May God comfort you always,

Papa,  I hoped to hear you say once more,
 “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”  In short you’d say, “Look to the hills” and we’d laugh! I thank God for the time I’ve known you! You made a huge impact in my life! I will always cherish your wisdom and knowledge you poured out to me. Well done Papa! I love you and glad I had the chance to tell you before God called you home to be with him. I’ll forever hear your voice reminding me of God’s word! You will definitely be missed.

My favorite memory of papa was when him and I was singing the Isley Brothers on tv during Christmas. And we took pictures next to the Christmas tree. I’m gonna miss my soldier <3. 

Over the many years my nephew Pastor George W. Savannah was known to be an avid music lover a great father and grandfather. Rest In Heaven Winston, we will always remember and love you for all your kind deeds. I love you all, my sister Joyce and Shirley and the family from Alma Sue Thompson her family, Lannie, Hyking and Daniel.
