Adriano was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, son of the late Ernesto and Diamantina Faria. He immigrated to the U.S. and had worked for the Diversified Maintenance Company prior to his retirement in 2000. He was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
He is survived by his son Ernie Faria of New Milford, his sisters, Eduarda Faria and Sara Faria and his brother Joao Jacinto of Azores, Portugal, as well as two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Manuel Faria.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
