
Born in New York City on January 6, 1917, the daughter of Annie (Noessel) and Louis Wenk; she previously resided in Cresskill, NJ; New Fairfield, CT; Chester, Vt; Port St Lucie and Jensen Beach, Florida.
She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Harold Schomber and daughter, Barbara Nichols.
Anna was a Charter Member and President of Squantz Engine Company’s Ladies Auxiliary in New Fairfield, CT. At the age of 50 she started working at Business Services in Commerce Park, Danbury, Ct; to then accept a position with their sister company, Mid Eastern Printing and during the next 29 years remained Manager of Perkin Elmer’s Corporate Worldwide Newsletter, Atomic Spectroscopy.
Anna’s top priority in life was her husband and family, both immediate and extended. She was loved by all and will be remembered that way as well.
She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Buccieri of New Milford, CT; seven Grandchildren: Jeffrey Arrigoni of Port St Lucie, FL, Keri (Buccieri) Miller of New Milford, CT, Jennifer (Nichols) Farrar of Springfield, VT, Thomas Buccieri of New Milford, CT and Joshua Nichols of San Diego, CA, seven great-grandchildren: Jake and Ava Arrigoni of Jensen Beach, FL, Karleigh Miller of New Milford, CT, Carson and Parker Farrar of Springfield, VT and Brooke and Myles Buccieri of New Milford, CT.
“Auntie Anna”, as she was known, is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, Ct. on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, Ct. Friends may call at Green Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
