

Anne C. Olivo, 94, of Danbury, died August 17, 2011. She was born March 23, 1917 in New York City, the daughter of Pietro and Vincenzina (Belisario) Cifone. She was married to the late Peter J. Olivo for more than 60 years.
She is survived by a son Peter T. Olivo and his wife Sandra of Bristol, Vermont, a son Steven M. Olivo and his wife Mary Lee of Danbury, Connecticut, a grandson Seth M. Olivo and his wife Jennifer of Keene, New Hampshire, a granddaughter Aimee O. Hughes and her husband Peter of Salem, Massachusetts, a grandson, Nicholas M. Olivo of Danbury, Connecticut, and great grandsons Cameron Olivo and Tate Hughes, the lights of her life. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Frank Iannuzzi and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Madeline Panuska and Gloria Iannuzzi.
Anne retired from Danbury Library and had worked for many years as the secretary at Park Avenue School. She volunteered for several community organizations. She enjoyed travel in the United States and Europe with her husband and was a voracious reader and a world class cook.
Anne's family thanks the caregivers from the Danbury Nurses Registery, especially Lee, Salome, Sandra, Cora and Cryseta, who helped Anne during the last years of her life.
There will be no calling hours. Private funeral arrangements will be made at the convenience of the family.
