Antero Filipe

Antero was born on March 20, 1923, in Foz do Arelho, Portugal, to Jose Antonio Filipe and Maria Guilhermina. Antero was a kind, loving and hardworking family man who will be remembered and sadly missed by many.

Antero is survived by his son, Jorge and his wife Rubenita Filipe. He is also survived by his granddaughters; Jaqueline Fletcher, Patricia Filipe Garcia and Suzane Filipe and two great-grandsons; Gabriel and Isaac Fletcher.

Friends and family will be received from 5pm - 8pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. A funeral service will be held at 7:30pm.

Antero will return to Portugal to be laid to rest next to his wife Maria Lucia Filipe.
