April Maureen Webb

April Herfel Webb, 53, of New Fairfield, CT passed away Sunday morning May 20, in New Milford Hospital. Born in March 1959, April grew up in Bedford and Pound Ridge, New York. April lived in New Fairfield, CT for 18 years until the time of her death. She was the daughter of Christian Robert and Maureen Hecker Herfel. April attended Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York, and graduated from the State University College of New York at Oneonta in 1981. She was married to George Webb, son of Ann Marie Webb, of Stratford, CT until his death in 2010. April was Director of Materials Management at New Milford Hospital, spending some 20 years in the health care industry. She excelled at tennis, loved to ski and could often be spotted on the sidelines at local football games cheering for her sons. April was a loyal friend and steadfast family member.

April is survived by her mother and sons, Brian George Webb, Second Lieutenant United States Army and James Robert Webb of New Fairfield, and her sisters Beth Herfel Greer of Fairfield, CT, Christian Herfel Kaster of Rowayton, CT and Joy Herfel Cronin of New Canaan, CT. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 10:00 am at the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity, The United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.
