Arthur Mace Teicher was born on December 17, 1946 in New York, NY, to Milton and Lillian (Kaufman) Teicher. He died on November 29, 2025 in Bethel, CT following a battle with cancer and dementia. Arthur will be remembered and missed for his kindness and devotion to his family.
Arthur attended the University of Toledo and served in the national Guard. In 1974 he married Marcia Fleschner (1947-1994), with whom, following a stint with the fledgling Federal Express company, he was part of the leadership team of the Manhattan-based executive recruiting firm Smith's Fifth Avenue for many years. Their son Craig was born in 1979.
In 1996, he married Marilyn Krohn and their families joined together in his Scarsdale, NY home.
He cherished memories of youthful summers spent at Lake George with his parents; his sister Fabienne Teicher, who died in 1998; his cousins Mace and Ronald Rothenberg; and later Marcia and Craig. He also cherished his close relationships with Marilyn and with his grandchildren. He loved dogs and was as devoted to Malory, the golden retriever he and Marilyn adopted, as she was to him. He also developed a late-life interest in chess.
Arthur is survived by Craig Teicher, his son; Marilyn (Lindenbaum) Krohn Teicher, his wife of 29 years; her children Laura Bollaro and Jordan Krohn; and five grandchildren
A Graveside Service will be held at Sharon Gardens - Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave., Valhalla, NY, on Monday, December 1, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm.
