Asia C. Andrews, 28, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Born in Dover, Delaware, on September 11, 1994, she was the only daughter of the late Scott Andrews and Lisa Cole. Raised in Danbury, CT, she attended local schools, graduated from Danbury High School, and completed several years at Naugatuck Valley Community College.
Throughout her career, Asia found joy working as a restaurant server and was employed at Hoodoo Brown BBQ before her untimely passing.
Asia lived life to the fullest, and her smile could light up a room. She was passionate about music, enjoyed attending concerts, going on trips, and cherished spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs Diamond and Onyx. Embracing a new journey of motherhood, she was excited about raising a son, Amir, with the same adoration and care she received from her family. Asia and Amir now rest in eternal love.
Asia was preceded in death by both of her parents, her uncle Todd Andrews, and her grandmother Shirley Cole.
She leaves behind her fiancé Jason Freeman, of Bridgeport, CT, her grandparents Christine “Chris” and Donald “Butch” King of Maryland, her uncles Edward (Linda) Cole and Jack Cole of Bethel, her aunts Mary Ann Cole and Diana Cole of Waterbury, as well as numerous cousins, family, and friends who will deeply miss her.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the New Hope Baptist Church 12 Dr. Aaron B Samuels Blvd., Danbury, CT 06810.
Visitation will take place on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am.
