Christine E. Taylor, 88, of Danbury, beloved wife of Edward Taylor, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Christine was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Charlie and Viola (Barton) Beach. She was a 1947 graduate of Danbury High School and had worked in the former Woolworth, Kresge, and Previdi stores and retired from Dr. Ladd’s Optometrist and Jewelry Store.
In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by her children Gary Melvin of ME and Linda Melvin of TX.
At Christine’s request, there will be no visitation or formal services. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
