

Donald was born in Danbury, son of the late Frank and Beatrice Peterson. He attended Danbury schools and had worked for many years in the meter service department for the Connecticut Light and Power and Yankee Gas Companies. He was stationed in Germany with the US Army after the Korean War and was a longtime member of the CWV, American Legion, VFW and Concordia Society.
He is survived by his daughter Debra Ann Falls of Danbury, three grandchildren: Amanda, Alan and Austin Falls and three great grandchildren: Danielle Falls, Jeremiah Falls and Steven White, as well as his brother Frank Peterson of Danbury and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bernard and Terrance Peterson.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 7:15 p.m. Interment will be private.
