

Dorothy was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Oscar and Gertrude (Davis) Capaldi. She graduated from Danbury High School, volunteered her time for the Red Cross and had been a member of the Crosby Manor ladies crafts group.
She is survived by two sons, Edward S. Fowler Jr. and wife Carol of New Milford and Kevin R. Fowler and wife Patricia of Brookfield, as well as her sister Kathryn Smolcnop and husband John of Englewood, FL, granddaughter Amy Marek and husband Joseph and great grandchildren Madison and Kyle Marek of Brookfield.
Family and friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m, with services at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be at Milltown Rural Cemetery, southeast, NY, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
