Elizabeth A. Cooper

Elizabeth went to school in Danbury and New York. She married Michael D. Cooper on July 4th, 1981, in Danbury, CT. She worked as a supervisor at Risdon’s for over 30 years.

Elizabeth was survived by her husband, Michael D. Cooper, children: James and his wife Carmen Sonia Garron, Patricia Garron, Vicky Valiente, and Barbara Cooper, two brothers: Mark and Dean Pecor, and one sister Wanda Wilson. Also surviving are her grandchildren: James Garron Jr., Elizabeth Garron, Michael Pinet, Carissa McGue, Kaylee Garcia, Ashley Cooper, Vanessa Mcnamare, Anthony Cooper, Jonathan Santana, Alyssa Cooper, Cameron Cooper, Estel Cintron, Michelle Broadhurst, 13 great-grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and close former daughter in law Debbie Ciufo Garron.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers: John, William, Herman Jr., Ronald and Ralph Pecor.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Yale Smilow Cancer Hospital.

Calling hours for Elizabeth will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM.
