

Elsie was born in Ridgefield, a daughter of Constantino and Rafaella Constantini. Elsie resided in Danbury, where she attended Danbury Schools. She was a graduate of Danbury High School. She later moved to Bethel, CT where she resided until moving to the Hartford area. Before moving to Rocky Hill, Elsie resided in Canton, CT.
Elsie was employed at The Hartford Insurance Group, until her retirement. Subsequently she was employed in the Diabetes & Research Dept. of Family Medicine in Hartford and with Mendoza & Associates, Inc. of Rocky Hill, as an administrative assistant until her retirement in 2002.
Elsie was an active member in St. Mary’s Church in Bethel for many years, where she served as Vice President of the St. Mary’s Women’s Guild. She was also an active member at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Rocky Hill, where she did volunteer work. She was an active volunteer at the Library of the Hanmer Elementary School in Wethersfield, CT.
Elsie is survived by a son: Patrick T. Lyman and his wife, Martha (Bonney) Lyman, of Drexel Hill, PA. Her daughter: Paula A. Ferro and her husband, Louis Ferro, of West Hartford, CT. Her grandchildren: Kristen, Colin and Geoffrey Lyman of Drexel Hill, PA and Jaclyn E. Ferro of West Hartford, CT. Her brother: William Constantini of Florida and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Elsie was predeceased by her siblings: Walter, Florence, Olga, Winnie, Wilma and Evelyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church, Bethel, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bethel. Friends will be received on Saturday from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
