Evaristo Costa age 70 of Danbury CT, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital early morning August 13, 2012. Son of the late Manuel and Deolinda Costa, he was born August 24,1941 in Agua D’Alto, Azores islands of Portugal and immigrated to the United States in 1969.
A lifelong resident of Danbury, CT, he was an avid hunter, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends more than anything. Married in 1967 he leaves his devoted wife of 44 years, Ilda, two sons Rick and Steven, two grandchildren Stephanie and David, three sisters Agueda, Noemia, and Dina, also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment will follow at St Peter Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
